As I predicted, the Steelers will see the Chargers a week from now in Heinz Field. The regular season match-up was a painful one despite the win, what with the Steelers outgaining the Chargers nearly two to one while only winning by a point. It was one of Bruce Arians better (read: few good) games of the year, where the Steelers utilized the short pass to Matt Spaeth to great effect. If it weren't for another moronic 4th and goal fail, it would have even been good.
With a painfully inept defense, an injured starting running back and tight end, the Steelers should be able to make short work of this team at home. Philip Rivers has obviously been one of, if not the best, quarterbck this season, though the Steelers held him under 200 yards with no touchdowns and two picks in the first meeting.
With the run that the Chargers are on, this is a team to be taken very seriously. Darren Sproles, even with his fumble near the goal line, put together an incredible game against the Colts. I like the Steelers chances going into this game, but with questionable injury situations with Ben, Silverback and Ryan Clark, there are some misgivings in the early part of the week.

Sproles is definitely a concern, but his rushing tally of 105 (against an Indy squad that averaged allowing 123 per game) is less impressive than the touted all purpose number. If we can neutralize a hobbled Gates and Vinny Jackson, I'll be slamming victory 'Irns.
Who are we pulling for in the Saturday game?
I'll be watching with the same Chargers fan I went to the game in Pittsburgh with. They just had a baby six days ago, which will be his salve against the heartbreak he'll feel next Sunday night.
Between Baltimore and Tennessee, I'm not sure I care much. Before the LenDale incident, I would have said the Tennessee. Now they can both get fucked. Having the AFC Title Game at home would be nice, but so would beating Tennessee at their house.
You have to factor in LT's yards as well as Bennett and Hester's...that puts the rushing total for the game near 160...granted, it wasn't against a stout Defense but when combined with the previous week against Denver, it spells confidence.
I don't mind our committee approach...we'll survive without LT.
If we turnover the ball in the red zone against your D, we are FUCT!
I see another, "who has the ball last" scenario.
Let's see Lendale eat the other idiot who plays running back for the Titans...or maybe Ray Lewis can "take care" of them both.
Good Luck Gentlemen...Final score 6-5
Before that OT run Sproles was averaging 3.7 yds/carry. He had a good game, but it's not like he went out and dominated or anything.
